Mandatory Contractor Notice: Deleting local browser caches or closing your trade subscription does not discharge a contractor's statutory obligation to produce electrical test records upon Safe Electric or Revenue inspection.
Under CRU Criteria Document CER/16/001, all Initial Verification Test Record Sheets (TRS), Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR/EICR), customer substation Cert 2s, and Cert 1 / Cert 3 completions must be preserved for a minimum of 5 years from the date of certification.
All VAT 3 returns, purchase dockets (Kellihers, Rexel, EWL), eRCT deduction authorisations, and Civil Service motoring mileage logbooks must be maintained for 6 full tax assessment years.
Site-specific risk assessments (BeSMART.ie statements) and Safe System of Work Plans (SSWP 7-step LOTO permits) should be retained to defend against workplace claims under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
